Presentation: We have long known that mature adults are leaders at every age, pointing the way for younger generations. In a time when there is a severe nursing shortage and especially a shortage of hospital nurses, it is rare for mature, experienced nurses to be at the bedside. Today, we meet an experienced nurse who has led and influenced two generations – a daughter and granddaughter – to choose a nursing career and to accept a job in the most difficult setting: 12 hour shifts in the hospital at the bedside of critically ill patients.
